All About Plastic Injection Mold Technology and How It Works

Injection molding is an industrial process that enables the production of many intricate plastic products easily. Mold casting is the general term used to refer to the injection of solid, liquid, or gaseous materials in molds to form objects according to their specifications. Molding techniques and equipment are usually based on either the hot or cold method. Injection mold technology was first developed in the 1950s. Since then, it has continued to gain popularity among various industries due to its wide range of advantages over alternative plastic manufacturing processes. Plastic injection mold technology is prevalent and the most common technology in the area of manufacturing high volume parts.
